A PROCESS, DEFINED
If you have been to one FBO, you have been to ONE FBO!
Each and every FBO is different! An individual FBO's business practices are often based on things like history, physical plants, ownership and airport and government regulations. While we hope to bring new and effective practices to your FBO we understand many of the factors that shape your business are outside of your control.
That's why our implementation teams work very closely with you and your staff using a defined process to truly understand your business and help you create YOUR version of X-1FBO. From the planning stages until weeks after you go live, you have a dedicated team of FBO professionals from the implementation team at your service.

HOW IT WORKS

Introductions & Discovery
The first step we take is getting to know everyone. We set up a meeting to introduce you to your implementation team and identify everyone we'll be working with on the FBO side.

Meetings & Documentation
This is where we engage your team to gather data, define and document your current processes and discuss them with the various department heads while we gather needs and expectations.

Development & Data Migration
We then use everything we've learned to build out your own version of X-1FBO, including migrating data such as customers, pricing and vendors. With our custom-designed exports, we can not only migrate your data from old systems like TFBO, but we can clean it up during the trip.

Initial Training
This is where the managers and project leads in the various departments get to access your sandbox. We begin to test processes and provide feedback on functionality and workflow, while your team gets introduced to X-1FBO and asks questions.

Testing & Configuration
This is the most active part of the implementation for both the FBO and the X-1 team. We test all of the functionality created in the sandbox to tweak settings and ensure no scenarios have been missed. A big part of this step is the parallel testing, where we create invoices in both systems to test day-to-day transactions.

Follow-On Training
During testing and configuration, we define new processes for go-live. This is an important step because many FBOs have been on the same system for so long with the same tools. If you've only been using a screwdriver for 20 years and now you have a cordless drill, the job is the same, but how you do it gets easier. We work with you to identify the differences.
TIME TO FIRE THIS THING UP
Your go-live date
The defining moment in the process is the "go-live." The X-1 Team and the project lead at the FBO will work together after user training has been completed to provide an exact go-live date. Members of the X-1FBO onboarding team will join you a day prior to go-live to provide some last-minute updates for training and review. For us it's all hands-on deck, as the implementation team will be supported by our entire team of Customer Support staff and developers.
